Projects include Hartford HCSG Insurance and PennDot District 5 offices of all data and telephone structured cabling. Other projects include wiring Pennridge school district with new data, voice, audio, CATV and backbone for new building construction. Headend cabinet layout and assembly. Ladder racking for cable trays in headend, telephony switches and corporate layouts. KNBT Inter-Tel AXXESS project for networking branches with voice, data and VoIP. Project foreman for remodel of 7 Kohl’s stores with new data, voice and network devices. Installation of network switches, routers, structured cabling and telephone switches for clients including adds, moves and changes. Certified with Vantage Controls for controlled lighting and home automation, including corporate automation.

My duties include recent change to the Lucent 5ESS related to troubleshooting lines,  and corrections of errors during installs. Local changes to Centigram voice mail and Centrex lines in house. Assisted Lucent in growth of the 5ESS. On call every other week for line testing, repairs and changes on UNE and MIP services. On call work is normally conducted from home with computer access to our systems. Assist the switch in all areas needed in maintenance, such as the co-location and hub sites. Received training on and hold Centigram, Titan 5500, Fujitsu and Recent Change 505A&D certificates.


Eastern Telephone & Telecommunications – August 1997 to March 1998

Managed the service department by coordinating installations, repairs and maintenance for the State of Pennsylvania zone 3, and commercial accounts ranging from Scranton, PA to Wilmington, DE and from Harrisburg, PA to Atlantic City, NJ. Fielded customer service and repair inquiries and scheduled technicians on a daily basis.


Diefenderfer Telecommunications - June 1993 to August 1997

Installation, service and programming/translations of (AT&T) Lucent Technologies PARTNER, PARTNER PLUS, PARTNER II, PARTNER ACS, MERLIN and MERLIN LEGEND systems. In addition PARTNER MAIL and MERLIN MAIL.

Additional systems installed and providing regular service on were the SPRINT PROTÉGÉ – CTX, MTX and LTX, VODAVI STARPLUS 612, 1428, 2856 and 4896, PREMIER ESP, ESPMDX and ESPDX systems.  Also FUTURE COMMUNICATIONS’ VOICE CONNECTION voice mail and VODAVI STARPLUS AVP voice mail.

Installation, service and programming/translations of 1A2 Key and Electronic Key Equipment, including WESTERN ELECTRIC, ITT, COMDIAL, TRILLIUM, INTERTEL, PREMIER AND MITEL.

Special assignments included training for certification at North Supply, Inc. to service and install their PREMIER ESP 1.3, ESPMDX and ESPDX Key and PBX systems. I was selected as most qualified to service and maintain former AT&T contract with the State of Pennsylvania for all equipment in Philadelphia, Delaware, Chester, Bucks and Montgomery counties, with offices headquartered in the State Office Building in Philadelphia. Served in this capacity from January to August 1990 until a qualified local technician could be found.
